Tasquinha da Praça

A standout feature of this town is a local dining spot that is both inviting and affordable. It boasts a wine cellar filled with an extensive variety of Portuguese wines. This was my first visit to a genuine Portuguese restaurant and it pleasantly exceeded my expectations. The celebration for my senses was matched by the extraordinary warmth of the restaurant's owners. 

They made great efforts to communicate with us in English, with their son stepping in as our host due to his proficiency in the language. We also enjoyed watching him play in a soccer match later on.
